Elected SLFP members convene at party headquarters

COLOMBO(News 1st): 14 candidates representing the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) who were elected into Parliament following the conclusion of the 2020 General Election convened at the SLFP headquarters today. The meeting which was held under the patronage of the Chairman of the SLFP Maithripala Sirisena was also attended by several stalwarts of the party including its General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara, Duminda Dissanayake and Nimal Siripala De Silva. " We will support any activity which takes place within Parliament", General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara said addressing the media following the meeting.
