COLOMBO (News1st): The Our Power of People Party is mulling the nomination of Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero to parliament through its national list.

“During tonight’s discussion we will finalize the documents and discuss the needful,” Ven. Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara Thero, the party’s patron noted.

This decision would be informed to the National Election Commission in writing by Monday, he added.

The Our Power of People Party obtained 67,758 votes at Wednesday’s parliamentary election and secured one national list seat.
