COLOMBO (News1st): The first official result of the 2020 parliamentary election was released this afternoon.

The national election commission released the results of the postal vote held for public officers in the Galle district, as voting began on Thursday.

The results are as follows ;

  • SLPP – 27,682 (72.70%)
  • SJB – 5,144 (13.51%)
  • NPP – 3,135 (8.32%)
  • UNP – 1,507 (3.96%)
