COVID-19 cases in the island rise to 2828

The number of confirmed COVID 19 cases in the island has increased to 2828.
5 patients tested positive yesterday.
4 are returnees from Saudi Arabia, the Health Ministry said.
The other is a contact of a patient from Lankapura.
At present, there are 300 active COVID-19 patients continuing to receive treatment at hospitals, while 2517 patients have recovered, The Health Ministry further stated.
