Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police seized more than Rs. 50 Million in cash in a surprise raid carried out at the house in Dematagota.

Police Officers discovered US$ 140,000/- and more than Rs. 31.3 Million rupees in notes in the possession of a 55 year old suspect.

Further, 04 grams of heroin was also in the possession of the suspect at the time of the arrest.

The suspect was arrested by officers attached to the Colombo North Division of Sri Lanka Police.
