Underworld gangster "Kota Tharanga" arrested

Colombo (News 1st); Gamage Tharanga Kumara also known as 'Kota Tharanga' was arrested by Sri Lanka Police for heroin possession in Keselwatte on Sunday (26).
It is reported 'Kota Tharanga' is a close associate of notorious underworld leader 'Makandure Madush'.
05 grams of heroin was discovered in the possession of suspect.
'Kota Tharanga' is currently on trial for multiple crimes including abduction of a girl from legal custody in 2010 and illegally transporting three T-56 Assault Rifles in 2017.
