Court orders Ex-Minister Rishad to report to CID & provide statements

Colombo (News 1st); The Fort Magistrate's Court ordered Ex-Minister Rishad Bathiudeen to appear at the Criminal Investigations Department on the 27th of July at 09:00 am to provide a statement.
According to Police Headquarters, this is with regard to the on-going CID investigation on the 2019 April 21st Attacks.
A statement from Police HQ noted Ex-Minister Bathiudeen was informed on two previous occasions to appear at the CID and provide a statement.
Police said as the Ex-Minister failed to appear at the CID, detectives reported facts to the Fort Magistrate's Court on Tuesday (21) on the matter.
Thereby, the Fort Magistrate's Court issued a notice on Ex-Minister Rishad Bathiudeen to report to the CID on the 27th of July.
