COLOMBO (News 1st): Ceylon Electricity Board said an agreement will be signed on Tuesday (7th July), which will facilitate the addition of power generated through 38 small power plants, to the national grid.
"75 Megawatts will be added to the National Grid through this agreement," Vijitha Herath, the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board, said on Saturday (July 4).
According to the CEB Chairman, this will provide a good opportunity to local entrepreneurs and will enable the CEB to obtain power generated through renewable sources.
