All office trains to operate from Monday

COLOMBO (News 1st): All office trains will operate from Monday according to the timetable, a senior railway official said. "The general public can also commute by train from Monday," railways general manager Dilantha Fernando told News 1st. He noted that at least 270 long-distance trains are also expected to resume services from Monday. Train services have not been fully functional amidst curfews and other restrictions since the coronavirus started spreading in the country on March 11. From Saturday, the curfew will be in effect only from 11 pm to 4 am, the President's Office said.
