The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country rose to 1643 with the addition of 10 new cases yesterday.

The 10 new COVID-19 cases include 6 returnees from abroad, 2 Navy officers, a wife of an Army officer and his son.

COVID-19 claimed the lives of 11 people.
