Colombo stocks close weaker on Tuesday

COLOMBO (News1st): Colombo stocks closed weaker  on Tuesday after ending its five day rally due to the profit taking while foreign investors exited from the risky assets. Colombo’s All Share Price Index (ASPI) fell 0.97 percent or 45.81 points to 4,655.22. Most liquid stock index the S&P SL20 Index ended 2.08 percent 39.20 points up at 1,925.85 while the market turnover was 1.51 billion rupees. Foreign investors were net sellers of 646.9 million rupees worth of shares today.
