Colombo (News 1st); 06 youth alleged to have gang-raped a 15-year-old girl in Sevenagala were remanded until the 26th of May by the Embilipitiya Magistrate’s Court.

The suspects are aged between 17 and 20 years and among them is one claiming to be the lover of the victim.

Sri Lanka Police said investigations revealed the suspects had lured the victim to an abandoned house and committed the crime.

The victim was hospitalized and will be subject to medical tests.
