Petitions challenging election date taken up once again today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The petitions filed against the decision taken to hold the General Election on the 20th of June and intermediary petitions were taken up at the Supreme Court today once again. The matter is being taken up in the presence of the 05 Judge Supreme Court bench to decide whether or not it would be taken up for consideration. The 05 Judge Bench is led by Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya.
