A total of 2,709 people were arrested for violating police curfew during the 24-hour window that ended at 6:00 this morning.

The police also said 946 vehicles were seized during this period.

Accordingly, a total of 59,035 people have been arrested for curfew violations, since police curfew was enforced on the 20th of March.

16,436 vehicles were seized during this period.

Legal action has been filed against 15,695 people for curfew violations until the 18th of April.

Of the total against whom legal action was taken, 5,660 people were punished, Police further added.
