COLOMBO (News 1st): An individual at the Colombo North Teaching Hospital suspected to have contracted COVID-19 had attempted to escape the Colombo North Teaching Hospital.

Our correspondent said security officers had brought back the patient to the hospital.

“His test reports were negative,” Deputy Director of the Colombo North Teaching Hospital Dr Sarath Premasiri said.

He added that currently there are no COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at the Ragama hospital.

“All those patients have been directed to the IDH,” said Deputy Director of the Colombo North Teaching Hospital Dr Sarath Premasiri adding that the general public should not fear.
