CSE revises decision to recommence trading on April 22

COLOMBO (News1st):The Colombo Stock Exchange will not recommence on the 22nd of April, as announced previously. The CSE earlier today announced that trading which was halted due to COVID-19, would resume on the 22nd of April. However, in view of the government's announcement this morning, that curfew in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam will continue until 27th April 2020, the CSE will not recommence trading on 22nd April 2020, as decided earlier.
