60 people in Puttalam sent for quarantine

COLOMBO (News1st): Sixty people in the Puttalam district were sent for quarantine late Thursday after health authorities found that they had maintained contact with some COVID - 19 patients. The residents who are from the Rathmalyaya, Navilgamuwa, and Alkasim areas are being quarantined at Zahira College in Puttalam. Our correspondent reported that the Puttalam Health officer, the police and the Sri Lanka Army had taken steps to transport them to the quarantine centre at around 10 pm.
