COLOMBO (News1st): This year’s supermoon – the biggest and brightest one of its kind this year, will be visible from Sri Lanka tonight, atmospheric physics experts said.
The ‘Pink Moon’ will be 14 percent larger than usual and 30 percent brighter than the average moon, Prof. Chandana Jayaratne at the Department of Physics of the University of Colombo said.
Prof. Jayaratne told News1st that the best time to view the moon would be between the hours of 6 pm to 8 pm.
