More than 200 curfew violators arrested today

COLOMBO (News1st): More than 200 people have been arrested for violating the curfew between the hours of 6 am and 12 noon on Tuesday, police said. The number of vehicles seized during this period stands at 73. According to the Police, the total number of people arrested for violating the curfew since it had been imposed on March 20 stands at 16,124. During this period, 4064 vehicles had been seized for travelling without a valid curfew permit.
