Postal Dept. to assist home delivery of essential goods

COLOMBO (News1st): The Department of Posts on Sunday said it is willing to assist supermarkets with the home delivery of essential items during the curfew imposed due to COVID - 19. In a statement, the Department said post offices distributed across the country will be able to facilitate the delivery of these goods in a safe manner. Supermarkets across the country have commenced home delivery services which has attracted a great demand owing to the curfew restrictions in place.
