Validity period of mining license for minerals extended

COLOMBO (News1st): The validity period of licenses issued for mining and transportation of minerals, which had expired before March 31, has been extended until April 31, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said. The GSMB, in a statement, noted that this decision had been made considering the current situation surrounding COVID-19 in the country.
