"Voice of America" Broadcasting facility given to treat COVID-19 patients

COLOMBO (News 1st):- A decision has been taken to transform the “Voice of America” Broadcasting facility and it’s premises at Iranawila, Chilaw to a centre to treat Covid-19 patients. The centre was handed over to health officials today (March 23). Heath, security and other state officials, including the Puttalam District Secretary - Chandrasiri Bandara attended this event. The key to the facility which was in the custody of the Sri Lanka Army was handed over to Regional Director of Health Services Dinusha Fernando today.
