COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka army on Wednesday said, the transformation of the Welikanda hospital, which is to be converted as a COVID-19 treatment centre, will conclude today.
“The hospital will be fully equipped for COVID-19 patients, to get treatment, without any hindrance,” Media Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe told News 1st.
Brigadier Wickremesinghe said that in case, the IDH runs out of space to treat COVID-19 cases, the Welikanda hospital will be ready to facilitate the treatment.
