All International Airports in SL closed from tomorrow

All International Airports in Sri Lanka will be closed for operation of inward international commercial passenger flights with effect from 04:00 AM tomorrow (19) to 25th March. The Civil Aviation Authority in a statement said this decision was taken according to instructions received from Sri Lanka Heatth Authorities The statement added the closure will be reviewed by the Sri Lanka Authorities. During the restricted period , 1. Aircraft Departures with passengers originating from Colombo, stop overs, transit passengers or visiting tourists. 2. Emergency Diversions to BIA 3. Freighter Operations and humanitarian ftights to BIA 4. Technical landings at BIA 5. lnbound ferry ftights (without passengers) at BIA, will be permitted.
