COLOMBO (News 1st): Secretary to the Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Bandula Harischandra on Wednesday said, that more than 25 Sri Lankans who visited India for the Dambadiwa pilgrimage, are currently staying at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in India, in New Delhi and that plans are underway to bring them back before midnight today.
According to the ministry data, more than 850 Sri Lankans have visited India on Dambadiwa pilgrimage.
The secretary said plans are underway to bring the remaining Sri Lankans to the High Commission of Sri Lanka in India.
