Eight injured & three dead in accidents islandwide

COLOMBO (News 1st):- In accidents reported from around the country, three people died while another eight people sustained injuries. Eight people were injured and one died when a lorry that was entering the Southern expressway from the Pinnaduwa entrance had collided with a van that was traveling in the same direction. Meanwhile, another death was reported when the life of a passenger was claimed after he was knocked down by a van in Wellawaya. Another person died after a motor vehicle had knocked him down in Bawilgamuwa, Pothuhera.
