Coronavirus: Public transport modes to be disinfected

COLOMBO (News 1st):- All buses and trains that will be used for public transport are due to be disinfected from today (March 14). The decision was made during a discussion held yesterday (March 13) with regards to minimizing the spread of the Coronavirus at the Presidents Office which was held under the auspices of the President. The effort will be carried out by the Defence forces. During the discussion, it was also decided to ban issuing visas for European nationals for a period of two weeks. Further he had also advised to submit the Sri Lankans arriving at the country from European countries to quarantine centers for 14 days. It was also decided to limit events and functions with large masses of people.
