62MPs to loose Government Pension

Colombo (News 1st) - Due to parliament being dissolved, 62 MPs who have not completed 5 years in the parliament will not be entitled to a government pension. 34 Parliamentarians out of these 62 Parliamentarians represented the United National Party. Meanwhile, 17 Parliamentarians who represented United Peoples Freedom Alliance will also face a similar situation. Moreover, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa from the Janatha Vimukthi Permauna 6 other parliamentarians who represented the Tamil National Alliance will also not be entitled to a Government Pension.
