200 principals appointed : Education Ministry

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Ministry of Education states that 200 appointments have been made for principals to fill vacant positions in national schools. Secretary of the Ministry, M. H. M. Chithrananda states that the appointments were granted based on the interviews that were conducted following the exams that were conducted recently. However, 100 more positions for principals at national schools still remain vacant. The Ministry will be filling these vacant positions in the coming weeks after gazetting these vacancies.
