SL Crew aboard Diamond Princess flown to New Delhi

The two Sri Lankans who were quarantined aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship docked in Yokohama, Japan, where a majority of coronavirus patients were reported, have arrived in New Delhi. On his official twitter handle, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said, the Acting High Commissioner for India informed him about this. The two Sri Lankans were brought to New Delhi after being quarantined in Japan and it is confirmed the duo have not contracted the new coronavirus. In his twitter message, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa thanked Indian Premier, Narendra Modi, the government of India and India's national carrier, Air India for facilitating the evacuation of the two Sri Lankans.
