NWSDB begins SMS service for water cuts

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that an SMS alert service has been enacted to notify the public of sudden water cuts. The SMS alert system has been enacted, to notify the public of disruptions to water supply caused due to the prevailing dry weather. To be part of the service, the public is requested to send an SMS with the account number in your water bill, to  071 93 99 999. This service which is provided free of charge will enable the people to check their monthly water bill charges, sudden water cuts, and many other information.
