Wijeydasa Rajapaksa summoned before 4/21 commission

Colombo (News 1st) - Parliamentarian Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has been issued notice to appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating the April 21st attacks, on February 28. Secretary to the Presidential Commission H.M.B.P Herath told News 1st that this was in connection to a statement he had made in Parliament. Former President Maithripala Sirisena appointed the Presidential Commission last year, to probe the attacks, which had killed 258 persons and left 481 injured. The Commission is expected to submit its final report to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in March.
