Colombo (News 1st) - The Working Committee of the United National Party is set to convene at 10am today. According to party sources, a final decision on the symbol used by the UNP for the upcoming general election will be reached during the meeting. MP Ranjith Maddumabandara who was appointed as the General Secretary of the new political movement headed by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa stated that the final decision on the party symbol would be conveyed to the country today, with the consensus of the UNP Working Committee.
