Colombo (News 1st) – The bodies of 02 female infants aged only a day were discovered from the Nasbey Estate in Nuwara Eliya following a tip received on the 119 Police Emergency Hotline.

According to Sri Lanka Police when the Acting Magistrate of Nuwara Eliya was inspecting one body of a female infant in the estate, a parcel located close by was also inspected, inside which the second body of an infant was discovered.

The Acting Magistrate ordered the Post-Mortem to take place in 14 days and the bodies are currently at the Nuwara Eliya Hospital.
