2 arrested over fatal motor accident in Rathmalana

Colombo (News 1st) - Two persons have been arrested in connection to a motor accident that occurred along the Atthidiya road in Rathmalana. The accident occurred when a motorbike heading from Atthidiya towards Galle road, rear-ended a van traveling in the same direction. The motorcycle which fell on impact went onto collide with a lorry that was traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the motorbike who suffered serious injuries in the accident passed away. The female pillion rider has been hospitalized due to injuries. The drivers of the van and lorry have been arrested.
