COLOMBO (News 1st):- Four suspects linked to a heroin racket have been arrested from Kolonnawa, Kelaniya, Wathupitiwala and Kadawatha. The stock of heroin discovered from the suspects’ possession exceeds 146g.

The police say that one of the suspects was arrested in Aldeniya, Kadawatha along with 101g of heroin when he was travelling in a three-wheeler.

In another raid conducted by the fraud prevention unit of the Colombo district, a 25-year-old suspect was arrested, while another 35-year-old suspect was arrested opposite the Kolonnawa municipal council along with over 33g of heroin. He is a resident of Dematagoda.

Upon information received by the STF officials, another suspect was arrested along with over 10g of heroin in Kelaniya, while another suspect was arrested from Nittambuwa for the possession of 2g of heroin.
