Another suspect arrested over the murder of "Anamalu Ranga"

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Another suspect has been arrested over the murder of organized criminal member "Anamalu Ranga" and two others near the Madampitiya cemetery in Grandpass. The arrest was made following an operation conducted by the Colombo Crimes division in Wellampitiya. The 39-year-old arrested individual is a resident of Wellampitiya. The suspects was arrested based on information revealed through the interrogation of the chief suspect, who is in police custody. The police have also seized a motorbike and a mobile phone that was used to commit the crime. This murder which occurred on the 15th of August 2019, was the result of a dispute between two organized criminal gangs. A group who had arrived at the scene in two three-wheelers had stabbed "Anamalu Ranga" and two others to death.
