14 Police officers transferred for sevice requirements

COLOMBO (News 1st):- 14 police officers including one DIG have been transferred based on service requirements under the approval of the National Police Commission. Thereby Senior DIG, G. I. D. R. Wijesinghe, has been transferred as the acting DIG of the Transport, Telecommunications and Information Technology division as well as the Promotions division. The Police Media Division states that the rest of the transferred police officers include two Senior Superintendents of Police and three Superintendents along with six assistant superintendents of police, a chief Police Inspector and another IP.
