Shooting in Suriyawewa claims a 27-year-old's life

Colombo (News 1st): A person died following a shooting that took place at around 10 AM today (Feb 13) in a house in Baddewewa, Suriyawewa. According to the police the shooting was carried out by a brother of the victim over a financial issue. The victim, who was severely injured, succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the Suriyawewa Hospital. The victim is a 27-year-old resident of the same area. Police noted that investigations are underway in search of the suspect who has fled the area.
