Training for graduates to begin on March 1st

Colombo (News1st) - The Cabinet has approved a move to provide unemployed Graduates with training at State institutions from the 1st of March. The decision was made at yesterday's Cabinet meeting. As such, following a year's training, they are set to be given permanent State sector employment. The trainees will be paid a monthly allowance of Rs. 22,500 during the training period. As per data available, there are a total of 50,000 unemployed graduates in the country.
