Parliament receives annexures and exhibits related to the CBSL Forensic Audit Report

Colombo (News 1st): Speaker informed the Parliament today (Feb 5) that the house has received the annexures and exhibits related to the Forensic Audit Report. He noted that His Excellency the President has appointed a Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry to inquire into the bond issue of January 2015. He added that on the 21st of January, the report was tabled in parliament as per a recommendation by the Commission, however, as there were missing annexures and exhibits, he made a request to the Governor of the Central Bank to hand them over. He noted that as such discs containing the 56 annexes, and the reports containing more than 10,000 pages have been presented to all Parliamentarians for their perusal. He added that three hard copies of the same are also available in the Parliamentary Library.
