Colombo (News 1st): Speaking on our Newsline program this morning (Feb 5), State Minister Vidura Wickramanayaka spoke about the alleged misappropriation surrounding SriLankan Airlines and Airbus.
Faraz Shauketaly: Do you think we need a fast track investigation, a fast track legal investigation to sort out Kapila and his wife? State Minister Vidura Wickramanayaka: Whether we like it or not, we have got to do it, whether that is in the system or not we have to have something of that nature. At this time I appeal to His Excellency the President, please now you can intervene, to make this happen, this is the time you should intervene. Faraz Shauketaly: Will you be contacting the President this morning to urge immediate action against Airbus? State Minister Vidura Wickramanayaka: You have to. I personally believe, not only as a part of the government, as a minister but as a responsible person, a citizen of this country, I have to. I appeal to it in public.
