Colombo (News 1st): President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has declared a week-long general amnesty period for deserters of the tri forces to receive a discharge or rejoin to continue their service. The amnesty period would only apply to tri forces deserters who had been declared absent without leave before the 30th of September 2019.
The amnesty period will be in effect from the 5th of February to the 12th of February.
