STF arrests "Ranale Suduwa" over extortion

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Police Special Task Force arrested an individual identified as' Ranale Suduwa ' a member of an organized criminal gang. The individual was arrested in Ranala. Investigations revealed, that ' Ranale Suduwa ' had extorted money from factories located in the area as well as from people who work for a daily wage in those establishments. The police said the information obtained from the suspect led to the arrest of 4 other suspects in the Wellampitiya area. Their arrests also led to the confiscation of 2kgs of Kerala Ganja.
