Shani Abeysekers provides 6 hour statement on Swiss Embassy staffer

Colombo (News 1st): Former Director of the Criminal Investigations Department SSP Shani Abeysekara arrived at the CID this morning (Jan 23) and provided a statement for about 6 hours. He arrived at the CID at 9:00 am today. He was summoned to record a statement with regard to the investigations into Swiss Embassy staffer Garniar Banister Francis. After recording the statements SSP Shani Abeysekara left the CID at 3:00 pm.
