Chairman of the Land Reform Commission Nilantha Wijesinghe assumes duties

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Nilantha Wijesinghe, the new Chairman of the Land Reform Commission, assumed duties today (January 16) assumed duties at the Land Reform Commission office at Battaramulla. Minister S.B. Dissanayake, representing the Lawyers Association of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna were present at the occasion. Nilantha Wijesinghe stated that many lands without deeds exist and people have to come to Colombo from distant areas to solve issues pertaining to lands. He added that steps will be taken to address these issues.
