Colombo (News 1st) - 10 Police teams have been appointed to investigate the phone recordings of MP Ranjan Ramanayake.
Police Media Spokesperson SP Jaliya Senaratne noted that the investigations are being spearheaded by a Police Superintendent. He added that the Acting IGP has called on the Director of the Colombo Crimes Division to complete investigations into the recordings expeditiously and provide a report.
The Police spokesperson went onto note that due to the large number of recordings involving the MP, the investigations being conducted would be complicated.
