Dr. Senarath Dissnayake reappointed as Archeology Director-General

Colombo (News 1st): Former Director-General of Archeology, Dr. Senarath Dissnayake has been reappointed to the same post. He will be appointed to the post left vacant by the former acting Director-General, Prof. P.B. Mandawala who was requested to return to University service through a letter directed to the Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural and Religious Affairs. Senarath Dissanayake who was appointed as the Director-General of the Department of Archeology in 2004 was removed from the post and transferred to the Ministry of Education during the previous government.
