Three wanted murder suspects arrested in Kahathuduwa

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Three suspects linked to a number of murders were arrested from Kahathuduwa. The police said that the suspects aged, 35, 36 and 37 are all residents of Rathmalana, Moratuwa, and Polgasowita. The three suspects were wanted by the police in connection to an incident that occurred on the 8th of January in Dharmarama, Mount Lavinia, where a group of people had barged into a house and stabbed three people with sharp weapons and murdered one of them. Out of the three arrested individuals, two of them were arrested for murders, while the third person was arrested for assisting them to stay in hiding. They are due to be presented before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court today (January 12).
