COLOMBO (News 1st) – A 72-year-old died in an accident that took place at the Gamsaba junction in Nugegoda.

The accident occurred when a petrol bowser and a motor vehicle collided. The petrol bowser was plying from Pepiliyana to Mirihana while the motor vehicle was plying from Maharagama to Colombo.

Police stated that the victim was the person inside the motor vehicle.

Police stated that 2 others who were in the motor vehicle sustained injuries and were admitted to the Kalubowila hospital while the driver of the petrol bowser was arrested.
